Hi, I’m Deborah and I’m the owner and operator of Heaven Scent Creations.
Society tells us that we are what we do. When I’m at home, I’m a mom. When I’m at work, I’m a software developer. When I’m at church, I’m a worship leader. But that’s not who I am.
When my mom passed away in November 2012, I took on the responsibility of looking after my dad. This was in addition to being a mom of two, working a very often demanding job as a software developer – and being active in worship ministry at church.
Life became soul-crushingly overwhelming and I desperately needed to do something for ME.
I taught myself how to make soap and took it up as a hobby. Two years later, Heaven Scent Creations was born.
At Heaven Scent Creations, our products are for women, especially moms, who sacrifice so much for the loved ones in their life that they think twice about taking the time to pamper themselves.
We’re often asked what our soaps do. While our products are created with natural skin-loving oils and additives (with loads of benefits), our use of synthetic colors and sweet-smelling fragrances allows us to craft unique creations that bring joy to your senses.
You can be rest assured that all of our ingredients are skin safe and our fragrances are phthalate and paraben-free.
Every one of our soaps is unique — just like you. Each one is meant to remind you that you too are not what you do but a beautiful, unique creation that can never be replicated. Loved for who you are, not for what you do.
